SPONSOR A CHILD

When you sponsor a child for $46 (USD) a month, you will enable us to provide regular balanced meals, holistic health care, school expenses, tutoring and after-school Christian instruction for a Malawian child of your choosing. This child will be specifically connected to you and can become a part of your family from far away!
Upon receiving your sponsorship request, we will respond by sending you a photo and short biography of your child. You will then be able to send written communications to your child, who will then reply to you. The relationship between a sponsor and child may remain purely financial and with this alone you will change the life of a kid in need. But if you choose to go the extra mile and make a connection with your sponsored child, your life may also be dramatically altered. God’s family is bigger than our boundaries and we invite you to experience this through sponsoring a child. Thank you!

DONATE DIRECTLY

When you donate generally to Miqlat, you allow us to provide seamless care for our children whenever there are unusual demands on our sponsorship funds (famine, floods, long-term illness, etc.), expand our impact to various community projects, and create opportunity for God to move in ways we have not yet planned. Your donation may allow us to build a new school room, repair a desperately needed vehicle, drill a safe-water well or hire a new teacher.

Help a Student through Secondary School

In Malawi, the 8th grade is the last opportunity for free education. After that, a child or family must pay for the child to attend high school each year. Upon the beginning of high school, Miqlat pays these school fees for our sponsored children. In our effort to send our students to the best possible local schools and as our children grow and graduate from 8th grade in higher more exciting numbers, we spend more in school fees each year. You can partner with us in meeting this education need by giving directly to the "Secondary School Fees Fund."
